A truly successful design reflects the client's needs and lifestyle, functions well for everyday use, can be realistically installed, aligns with an established budget, and incorporates attainable plants and materials. Most importantly, it is a space that the client loves and enjoys for years to come. Clients often ask what my design style is. My answer is simple: every project is unique and should be thoughtfully tailored to the homeowner. No two families live the same way, so no two landscapes should be exactly alike. At the end of the day, I am not the one who will experience the space daily—the client is. A project is truly successful when the finished landscape feels like a natural extension of their home and lifestyle, and they are excited to spend time in a space created specifically for them.
